Her EYES
My mind, scorched with fear
I knew something was not clear
I cried out in pain but she couldn't hear
I stayed up all night thinking about my peer
I gave her a candy to overcome my fear
She held my hand & her warmth just smeared
She looked into my eyes & the world disappeared
I cherished her & we popped a couple of beer !
